Where to Begin

What strikes me most about blogs is how inspriational they can be to the reader and for the writer it allows them to organize, motivate and track themselves as they accomplish their goals.

So here is my 2 cents tossed into the blogosphere.

My husband and I have decided to move our family ~4 hours away from our current home. We love it where we are but since the mill closed almost two years ago and T lost his job, things have just been spinning in place for us (ok, maybe slipping a little behind), especially as I left a good paying job at the EXACT SAME TIME due to an insufferable boss and we lost two very good incomes.

I have never been great with money but I am learning. I wish the internets and blogs had been around when I was younger. I have learned so much in the past two years since I found Gail Vaz-Oxlade's show and blog and all the resulting PF blogs and frugal blogs from clicking through the comments.

Now I want to really put all I have learned to good use.

So I will be using this blog to keep track of my budget/spending, fixing up our house, cleaning up our lives and our move progress.
